iDiski TV analyst Benedict Tso Vilakazi reckons Orlando Pirates winger Monnapule Saleng is an early contender for the PSL Player of the Season accolade.
Saleng has scored in each and very competition for the Buccaneers this campaign, netting three times with a single assist in eight outings as Bucs reached the MTN8 final, the CAF Champions League group stages as well as tied with Mamelodi Sundowns at the top of the Betway Premiership standings, with the latter holding a superior goal difference.

Tso says despite it still being early days on in the term, the 26-year-old’s always shows individual brilliance that helps his team.
“One thing about him is that he can have a poor game, lose passes, make runs in wrong areas but he will get a moment to score a goal,” Tso said on iDiski TV when asked whether Saleng is an early contender for POTS.
“I mean look at the angle of his goal [against Polokwane City], he put the ball on the roof. That’s not an easy thing and for him to do that… And if he continues like this you can’t stop him.
“He’s scoring the team is winning and yes he has his own faults, but I said individually you know there is something he can do for the team to win. That’s where he comes in every time he does well, scores crucial goals for the team and puts the team forward.
“If he continues like this, who can stop him [from being named POTS].”
