iDiski TV analyst Benedict Vilakazi is of the opinion that Orlando Pirates should pounce on Peter Shalulile to bolster their attacking department.
The Namibian international recently parted ways with Mamelodi Sundowns where he spent six years, making 228 appearances across all competitions, scoring 107 goals and providing 27 assists.
It was the striker who requested a clearance from the two-time African champions to seek regular game time elsewhere after struggling for minutes last season.
‘Tso’ hasn’t been particularly impressed with the strikers at Pirates and with the departure of Tshegofatso Mabasa and the side having qualified for the CAF Champions League, he believes Shalulile is the quality the Buccaneers need upfront in the new campaign.
“Look Sundowns has just released Shalulile now, why can’t you get him?” said Tso on iDiski TV.
“Go and get him. He is one striker that will score. Currently with the stats that we’ve got in South African football I’d rather go for him because I know he’s goal scorer.
“I know that with the midfielders that we’ve got, the speed that we’ve got he’s always inside the box he’ll score. That’s one player that comes to my mind when we talk about strikers.”
