AmaZulu FC have set their sights on Cape Town Spurs’ 22-year-old defender Liam Bern.
Usuthu are in interested in signing Bern following his early experience at Spurs where he made his debut at a young age and became a valuable player for the Urban Warriors.
Bern can only leave Spurs for free only if they are confirmed relegated, as there’s still an ongoing High Court case which took place on Thursday, 19th June with the outcome expected to be early next week.
The Cape Town-based side could lose more players if they get relegated with so many teams waiting for the outcome and rubbing their palms to get players as free agents.
AmaZulu have already done a clear-out of about 18 players which could leave room for new additions like Bern who is expected to fit like a glove in head coach Arthur Zwane’s team.
