Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club have tabled a lucrative offer for Kaizer Chiefs strength and conditioning coach Majdi Safi.
Safi joined Chiefs at the beginning of last season having been roped in by head coach Nasreddine Nabi as part of his trusted technical team member with the aim of waking up the sleeping giant.

The glimpse of waking up the big animal in Chiefs has already started well for them after they clinched the Nedbank Cup, ending a 10-year trophy drought.
Information received is that Safi has been dangled with a lucrative offer by Wydad as he has one-year left in his Chiefs contract.
Information coming from Amakhosi corridors is that the experienced strength and conditioning coach was noticed to be absent yesterday when Chiefs reported back for pre-season. It remains to be seen if he will take the offer or if he will let his contract run down at Chiefs and continue the process of working hard at the club.
Amakhosi lost Fernando da Cruz in a similar manner at the beginning of last season just after a few weeks of joining the club as he was offered a job by Moroccan Football Association and he took it leaving Chiefs hanging.
