Richards Bay coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi was cautious not to declare his side front-runners in the on-going PSL Promotion/Playoffs campaign.
The Natal Rich Boyz currently occupy first spot in the mini league standings with four points from their two encounters. They beat the University of Pretoria 1-0 a fortnight ago in their own fortress before holding Baroka FC to a 0-0 draw at Global Stadium in Lebowakgomo this past Saturday.
Despite the slight advantage over second-placed AmaTuks who they lead with one point, Vilakazi knows the result of the match between the Motsepe Foundation Championship sides (Tuks and Baroka) in midweek could change things for them, and said it will be important to just focus on grinding the results themselves.

“I wouldn’t say that maybe we’ve already done it,” said Vilakazi.
“By the look of things yes we are still leading but if AmaTuks beat Baroka then we are talking another language. So that is why I’m focusing on our battles, I’m focusing on our games and we just don’t want to lose any game. So we’ll go to AmaTuks and win and we’ll definitely win at home.”
Bay take on the Tshwane outfit in their penultimate promotion/playoff match at Tuks Stadium on Saturday, June 15, before their final match against Bakgakga at the King Zwelithini Stadium four days later.
