Richards Bay head coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi has taken to social media hinting at his exit from the club ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
What seemed like a marriage destined for greatness has now come crumbling down after Farpost first reported on Monday that the club had opted to go their separate ways shortly after Vilakazi signed a new contract with the KwaZulu-Natal outfit.

A change is said to have been influenced by the arrival of new sponsors, Phakwe Gas, who are looking to bring in a much more experienced coach.
Vilakazi, 41, steered the Natal Rich Boyz to topflight football survival after an impressive unbeaten run in the PSL Promotion/playoffs where they saw off the likes of Baroka FC and the University of Pretoria.
However, on Monday, Vilakazi appeared to have confirmed his exit after he posted a motivation from renowned radio personality and businessman DJ Sbu on social media.
“A man never gives up my brother,” the audio said.
“I want to tell you that you kneel down and pray, dust yourself off and then keep it moving.
“Every day, every week, the whole year, but at the end of the day you’ll come back.
“You’ll come back to the game boy.”
It remains to be seen where Vilakazi’s future next lies having worked for PSL clubs like Golden Arrows and Chippa United in the past.
