Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson says he doesn’t want any new players in the upcoming January transfer window.
Johnson has overseen three wins from the last three games to shoot Chiefs up to sixth but it was rather lacklustre displays devoid of confidence synonymous with the brand.
Wile that may be growing with time, Johnson says signing more players perhaps won’t be the answer to their current issues as he’s yet to have enough time with them on the training ground.
“At the moment, nothing, I don’t want any players because I think the time I’ve spent with them, is far too little, if I can change players, if there’s any coach who can change players over two months, then I eat my hat,” Johnson said when asked if they need new personell.
“So at the moment, yes, you are correct there are some patterns that work but not work all the time.
“We need to make sure it’s repetition of repetition to make it work, to become better players and I’ve said this before… you join Chiefs a s a good player and if you’re the coach – I need to make you a better player.
