Mamelodi Sundowns’ experienced midfielder Bongani Zungu will miss tonight’s DStv Premiership clash against relegation-threatened Richards Bay Football Club due to suspension.
Zungu left the field inside 13 minutes in the CAF Champions League first leg quarterfinal clash against Young Africans SC at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium after picking up an injury.
The midfield maestro will have more time to recover, as he won’t be available for the tonight’s clash against Natal Richboyz.
The 31-year-old received his fourth yellow card in the Nedbank Cup clash against Maritzburg United where Downs won by 2-0 and Masandawana have not had a domestic fixture since.
Meanwhile, Moroka Swallows will be without Gabadinho Mhango when they face Orlando Pirates in Wednesday’s Soweto Derby after he received his fourth yellow card in a 1-0 win over Cape Town Spurs.
Sekhukhune United will be without their on-form man Elias Mokwana, as the 24-year-old, who recently made his Bafana Bafana debut and got a goal, is also among the suspended players.
