Orlando Pirates and Al Ahly SC have announced their starting line-ups for today’s CAF Champions League clash at Orlando Stadium.
A sold-out affair at eSgodini this afternoon where Pirates aim to redeem themselves after suffering a 1-0 defeat against Stellenbosch, which was their first league loss of the season.
They might have lost against Stellies but they had a good start in the CAFCL where they won away from home, beating Algerian side CR Belouizdad 2-1.
Meanwhile, the defending CAFCL champions also dropped points in their last league match when they played a goalless draw with National Bank.
Before they hammered Ivory Coast side Stade d’Abijan by 4-2 in the CAFCL group stages opener in Cairo.
These two sides already faced each other five times, Pirates won two, Al Ahly won one, and the other two ended with draws, while the Egyptian giants never won on South African soil against any team from Mzansi.
