Orlando Pirates will face Pyramids in the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League after eliminating MC Alger.
The Buccaneers advanced after beating MC Alger 1-0 on aggregate, following a goalless draw at Esgodini in the second leg.
Meanwhile, Pyramids race to a 4-1 first-leg victory, which carried them through the second leg where they lost 2-0 at AS FAR.
However, the three-goal first-leg advantage was enough to see them qualify 4-3 on aggregate.
Pirates will now face Pyramids who have reached the semi-finals of the competition for the first time in their history.
The Buccaneers for a third time. On both previous occasions they managed to make the final, winning the trophy in 1995.
