Orlando Pirates have given an injury update ahead of their CAF Champions League clash with CR Belouizdad, with the likes of Olisa Ndah and Zakhele Lepasa closing in on a return.
The Buccaneers have been handling to compete in multiple competitions despite several injury setbacks this season.
With CAFCL, Betway Premiership and Nedbank Cup ahead of them in the coming weeks, the club has confirmed that the likes of Ndah, Goodman Mosele and Lepasa are getting closer to being available, while Thabiso Monyane will be sidelined for a month.
Goodman Mosele
Has started training fully with the team however, he still needs to undergo one last examination by a specialist before he is given the green light to be available for selection.
Zakhele Lepasa
Is progressing well as he continues to undergo rehab. He has started field-based running as they gradually increase the load.
Olisa Ndah
Has been given the green light to start field-based training which will also involve conditioning as he gets closer to full recovery.
Thabiso Monyane
Has suffered a hamstring tear in the league match against Cape Town City. He has been ruled out of competition for up to four weeks.
