Peter Shalulile was again on the scoresheet to help Manqoba Mngqithi’s Young Africans to qualify for the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
Yanga booked their spot in the next round thanks to a 2-1 home win over Gaborone United on Saturday.
The first leg between the two sides had ended 1-1, meaning Mngqithi’s side progressed 3-2 on aggregate.
Shalulile scored the opener after seven minutes, with Cheikh Toure doubling Yanga’s lead after 84 minutes.
The visitors pulled one back via Lebogang Ditsele in the 87th minute but it was a little too late.
Overall, it was Mngqithi’s seventh win in eight games as Yanga head coach, as Shalulile netted his third goal since joining the club.
They will now face CFFA of Madagascar who beat Lesotho side Lijabotha 3-1 on aggregate.
