Mamelodi Sundowns will face ASEC Mimosas/Esperance de Tunis in the semi-final of the CAF Champions league.
ES Tunis held their nerves after beating ASEC Mimosas on penalties after their tie ended goalless over 180 minutes.
Esperance finished in second place in Group C, with 11 points – one behind Petro de Luanda.
But while Petro were eliminated by TP Mazembe, who beat them 2-1 on aggregate earlier on Saturday, Tunis booked their Last-4 ticket.
They lost just one game in the competition so far, a 3-1 away loss to Al Hilal Omdurman.
ES Tunis have won the CAF Champions League four times so far, including back-to-back in 2018 and 2019.
Sundowns have a small advantage, as they will play the first leg away from home before hosting ES Tunis in Pretoria for the all-important second leg.
Meanwhile, record champions Al Ahly will face TP Mazembe in the second semi-final. The semis are scheduled for 19 and 26 April.
