Sundowns & ES Tunis Starting XIs Announced

Mamelodi Sundowns and ES Tunis have announced their starting line-ups for the second-leg of their CAF Champions League semi-final at Loftus Versfeld Stadium this evening.

Sundowns will be playing their eighth game in a space of 26 days this evening after beating Sekhukhune United on Tuesday to move closer to their seventh successive league title.

A week ago, Sundowns suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat in Tunisia after Yan Sasse scored the only goal of the match. Rulani Mokwena and his troops will have to overturn the score-line, if they are to make it to the final.

Meanwhile, ES Tunis, are well-rested with no mid-week and arrived in South Africa on Tuesday with their supporters, will look to get an away goal to make things easier for themselves or get a draw.

The Tunisian giants won the CAFCL four times, and they will look to add another one to the list at the expense of Masandawana.

There are also still two FIFA Club World spots for CAF up for grabs, which both sides are looking to secure. Should TP Mazembe fail to reach the final both sides will be playing the biggest club competition in the world.

These two sides faced each other three times, and Sundowns are yet to beat Esperance.

Here is how they line up:

Sundowns XI: Williams, Mudau, Mvala, Kekana, Coetzee, Lunga, Aubaas, Allende, Maseko, Ribeiro, Shalulile

Subs: D. Oyango, Lebusa, Zungu, Lorch, Modiba, Zwane, Morena, Maema, Matthews

ES Tunis XI: Memmiche, Ben Ali, Meriah, Tka, Rodrigues Silva, Sasse, Tougai, Ghacha, Ben Hmida, Chaleli, Aholou
