Mamelodi Sundowns have named their starting XI for today’s CAF Champions League game against AS Maniema Union.
It is the DStv Premiership champions’ first match in this season’s CAFCL competition after being give a bye in the first preliminary round.
However in domestic football, Sundowns are currently unbeaten this season, topping the league table, and have advanced to this month’s MTN8 final against Cape Town City.
The first leg of will be played today at the Stade des Martyr in the DRC, with next week’s return leg scheduled for Loftus Stadium.
This will be the first time the 2016 CAFCL champions’ meet Maniema in this competition, who advanced past Gabon’s Bouenguidi in the first round.
