iDiski TV analyst Benedict Vilakazi has heaped huge praise on Mamelodi Sundowns midfield duo Teboho Mokoena and Jayden Adams for their display in the CAF Champions League final 2nd leg against ASFAR.

The two marshalled the midfield at a hostile Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium in Rabat, making runs to break the opponent’s defensive lines while also handling ASFAR’s crosses.

And Mokoena scored the beauty that saw Sundowns level the score in the game and eventually win the title 2-1 on aggregate for the second time in a decade.

‘Tso’ applauded Mrembula’s strike while adding the two midfielders worked hard and should be considered to start for Bafana Bafana at the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

“These two boys I don’t know what to say about them,” said Tso on iDiski TV.

“Tebza and Adams they are out of this league I’m telling you. The boys they worked very hard. They know how to cool down the game. They know how to play quick. Look at Tebza’s goal, for him to find himself in that position and have that shot, wow.

“They get themselves in very good positions because even Adams nearly scored. [Arthur] Sales came in, made a through pass to him and he nearly scored.

“You know when you’ve got players like this in your team, it’s no wonder why Sundowns is playing in the Champions League every season. It’s because of the quality of the players.

“If these two players don’t start [at the World Cup] then something is not right. You cannot have these two players who control the midfield home and away making sure the team gets a star with this performance. They understand their roles in that midfield.”
