Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi says he was unhappy with his side’s finishing despite hammering Kaizer Chiefs 4-0.
Masandawana thrashed Amakhosi 4-0 in front of a sold-out crowd at the Calabash to book their ticket for the Carling Knockout semi-finals.
Chiefs raced to a three-goal first-half lead, but Mngqithi said his side could’ve even scored more, admitting he pleaded with his players to continue in the same mould in the half.
“It was impressive to see the team playing the way they played with a lot of positivity, we moved the ball quite well first half,”
“But I was just an unhappy person, because I thought we could’ve scored a lot of goals in this match.

“Even at half-time I was begging them to put up a professional performance and trying to score as many goal as possible because it’s important in our preparation for the continental space.
“That is the only thing I’m unhappy about, because I think we really gave away a lot of chance that could’ve easily been our goal but overall I think the boys played really well.”
