Mosimane Hails Chiefs Star

Three-time CAF Champions League winning coach Pitso Mosimane has heaped praise on Kaizer Chiefs forward Gaston Sirino.

Sirino, 33, joined Chiefs on a free transfer after leaving Mamelodi Sundowns, the club Mosimane signed him for back in 2018 from Club Bolivar.

He proved an integral part of Sundowns but fell out of favour after attempting to force a move away from the club to reunite with Mosimane when he joined Al Ahly.

However, he secured seven league titles, Telkom Knockout, MTN8, Nedbank Cup and African Football League during his six-and-a-half seasons.

“Class is permanent. Top talent, loves training has a lot of passion for the game and is opinionated. A bit emotional but manageable. A South American player,” Mosimane wrote on social media reacting to his goal against SuperSport United.

“He scores goals and has lots of assists, a very crucial ingredient in an attacking player.”

Sirino has scored two goals with three assists in his first four games since joining Amakhosi.
