Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi admits that despite his players coming second best against a dominant Mamelodi Sundowns, he takes full responsibility for how the results panned out on the day.
Chiefs saw another opportunity to break their trophy drought continue as Sundowns turned on the style at FNB Stadium with a humiliating 4-0 scoreline to reach the Carling Black Label Knockout semifinals.

Iqraam Rayners netted a brace with Peter Shalulile and Khuliso Mudau also recording their names on the scoresheet.
The Tunisian-born mentor revealed that he owns up that his players did not step up to the game, further adding that he would however have a talk with his players and hold them accountable as well.
“Somehow, I share an assessment that the players were not good enough today,” a dejected Nabi told the media.
“But, the responsibility is mine as a coach. I’m gonna take full responsibility for today’s game because I don’t want to criticize my players in front of the media.
“But I will do it inside. Everyone will take his responsibility, but it’s true that they were far from their best performance because we were at the beginning of the game very nervous.
