Ramovic – Money Doesn’t Win Games

TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic says his squad are proving you don’t need to be the most expensive to reach a cup final.

This after beating AmaZulu 3-2 to book a place in the Carling Knockout final against Stellenbosch set to take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 16 December.

Bradley Mojela, Higor Vidal and Samir Nurkovic found the net, all three were signed as free agents and look set to be an integral part of their attack.

“We deserve to be in the final and I have to give a lot of credit to my players, unbelievable, great effort to reach the final, great attitude, it’s like I said before the game, you don’t always win with the million [rand] players, you win with great attitude players,” he said after the game to SuperSport TV.

“This is what I have, I am just proud about it but also I would like to say again, what happened around the world, we should pray for the innocent people of Palestine, who get killed every day. We should also pray for people in Palestine, don’t cut this again.

‘It’s important, it’s not always about soccer, every day we should wake up and stand for humanity – the last time you cut the interview, I hope this time you won’t.

“But great effort again from us. We’re grateful for our supporters, beautiful thing to see us in the final.”

This marks the first cup final for Ramovic in his third season with the Rockets.
