Stellenbosch & Carling All-Star XIs Announced

Stellenbosch have confirmed their starting line-up to face the Carliing All-Star XI in the Carling Cup at the Peter Mokaba Stadium this afternoon.

Stellies will be brimming with confidence after winning the Carling Knockout against TS Galaxy and beating Orlando Pirates in the build-up to this fixture.

Head coach Steve Barker said with a trophy and prize money on offer, they will take the game seriously and his recent record against Jose Riveiro means nothing.

Barker has overseen three wins over Riveiro’s Pirates this season but it will be a unique challenge with a mixture of Kaizer Chiefs, AmaZulu and Buccaneers with some DStv Diski flair added to their opposition.

The match kicks off this afternoon in Polokwane at 15h00.
