Chippa United have confirmed the signing of Giovanni Philander from Western Cape ABC Motsepe League side FN Rangers.
Philander, 24, was previously on the books of Mamelodi Sundowns, before his return to Cape Town with Ajax Cape Town, Steenberg United and Rangers.
He looks set to form part of a new-look Chilli Boys squad next season under the guidance of co-coaches Thabo September and Kwanele Kopo.
Philander is the second signing to be unveiled by the club after Andile Jali on Thursday with several more announcements expected after parting ways with 16 players ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
