Orlando Pirates secured a 2-0 win over LaLiga outfit Sevilla in their pre-season friendly at the Estadio Jesús Navas on Monday evening.
Pirates made several changes to their starting eleven that drew 2-2 with English Championship side Plymouth Argyle on Saturday with Tshegofatso Mabasa, Karim Kimvuidi, Thalante Mbatha, Miguel Timm, Thbiso Sesane and Deon Hotto introduced.

And their fluidity was unchanged as they showed up against the home side who fielded a youthful squad led by star playmaker Suso – who stood out as one of the best players on the pitch in the opening half.
Monnapule Saleng was guilty of spurning two great chances, the first after being put through on goal and hitting the post and the second with a miscontrol inside the area after Mbatha picked him out at the end of a surging run from midfield.
But Miguel Timm made sure his side went into the break in the lead with a rare goal, slotting home Relebohile Mofokeng’s corner in at the near post beyond a stationary Ørjan Nyland.
García Pimienta made several changes in the second half with good effect as they took control of possession and created the bulk of the chances but Pirates held firm with a resolute defence and went on to double the lead with ten minutes remaining.
Kabelo Dlamini smashed an unstoppable effort into the top right corner with his gifted left foot to secure the victory and remain unbeaten in their pre-season tour.
