Jose Mourinho has hit back at Pep Guardiola saying he fairly won his three titles with Chelsea in response to the Manchester City boss’s comments that he had six English top-flight titles while the Portuguese coach had only won three.
Guardiola held up six fingers to the Liverpool fans following their 2-1 defeat at Anfield in response to chants of “you’re getting sacked in the morning.”

During his time as Manchester United manager, Mourinho also held up three fingers to opposing fans but was then sacked not long after that moment. Quizzed if he would suffer a similar fate as Mourinho, the former Barcelona manager had this to say.
“I hope not in my case… he won three, I won six.. but we are the same like that,” Guardiola responded, according to Reuters.
Mourinho took a sly dig at his ‘old foe’, alluding to the Cityzens’ charges over alleged violations of the Premier League’s financial rules between 2009-2018.
“Guardiola said something about me… he won six trophies, and I won three, but I won fairly and cleanly,” the Fenerbahce boss said.

“If I lost, I want to congratulate my opponent because he was better than me. I don’t want to win by dealing with 150 court cases.”
