Bucs Legend Welcomes New Coach

Orlando Pirates legend Lucky Lekgwathi welcomed new physical trainer Carlos Nodar Paz and Deano Van Rooyen to the club.

Paz arrives as the direct replacement for Miguel Bellver after the 36-year-old, along with Sergio Almenara parted ways with the club last season.

It’s believed he could fulfil a dual role as he did in China with his previous club Wuhan Three Towns.

Lekgwathi took to social media to express his welcoming of Paz and former Stellenbosch FC captain Van Rooyen alongside other influential figures of the club.

“WELCOME TO ORLANDO PIRATES,” he wrote on his official Instagram.

“Thank you for the opportunity to welcome Deano David van Rooyen and Carloz Nodar Paz (Ass Coach).”

Teboho Moloi and Edward ‘Magnets’ Motale were also spotted alongside the former Buccaneers defender and their latest arrivals.
