Meanwhile, Nsingizini Hotspurs have also challenged their defeat to Simba SC, stating their new head coach, Dimitar Pantev, who succeeded Fadlu Davis at the club, did not have the required licenses to be on the bench in their 2nd round preliminary qualifier.
Simba were drawn in the CAF Champions League Group D with Esperance Sportive de Tunis, Petro de Luanda and Stade Malien, while Lupopo are in Group C, alongside Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Hilal Sudan and MC Alger.
“There’s an independent judicial bodies at CAF, the disciplinary board, I know they are looking into these matters, it’s important we give them space, to look at the merits, be it a complaint or protest or whatever,” September said.
“At the moment, we’re not at liberty to talk about it, by giving space to our judicial bodies to look at these things, we have to continue with the business of the day and we’ll be led by whatever the DC says or judicial bodies of CAF dictates.
“It’s an independent body, there might be a decision, then someone might decide to appeal, I don’t know what will happen, I cannot pre-empt this, the only thing I can confirm to you is that all these matters are before the CAF judicial bodies, processed through the system. And as the administration we are awaiting the outcome of the judicial bodies.”
The group stages will take place between 21 November 2025 and 14 February 2026.
