Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso has demanded sharpness from his players for their next two features as they gear up for a tough battle against Borussia Dortmund this evening.
Sundowns had a dream start in the FIFA Club World Cup beating Ulsan HD 1-0 courtesy of Iqraam Rayners. The Brazilians are sitting top of Group F after Dortmund and Fluminense played a goalless draw.

Dows’ next encounter is against Dortmund and Cardoso is expecting a different ball game after outclassing South Korean side Ulsan in the opening match.
The former ES Tunis mentor explained that intensity is what is lacking in these games and that could be caused by the weather heat.
“I can tell you I didn’t see the game my assistant did, I was finalizing the power point that I have for the players, the focus was on this game as well,” Cardoso told the media.
“But I already have in my computer 45 minutes of the small parts of their game so that on our way back I can already look at them.”
“I heard the game was not intense, the thing is our game also today was not intense. Even as much as we want it the heat, the conditions they count a little bit in the possibility to perform physically.
“The question is how much can you give on what you can give and if you can take it to the limit. Every game will have a different story, now we need to recover, see if everybody is okay, how do we approach the game and understand Dortmund so that we can be competitive.
“It’s very important that after this victory in our next two games we can be competitive, we gonna play against the best ones now, so we are so keen on it.”
