Bradley Carnell has St Louis City SC to a new Major League Soccer record after their 2-2 draw against DC United at home.
City becomes the first expansion side to go unbeaten for the first five games in back-to-back seasons and the fifth team in the MLS to do so.
The Western Conference side drew four of their first five MLS games; scored 10 goals and conceded eight which sees them sitting 15th in the main league and eighth in the WC.
City won their first five games last season beating, Austin FC, Charlotte FC, Portland Timbers, San Jose Earthquakes and Real Salt Lake.
Despite these records Carnell was left unhappy with the performance and believed they should’ve gotten more.
“Interesting stats (laughs). First of all, I just want to apologise to the fans it frustrates me a little bit when fans pay hard-earned cash to get some tickets to watch a soccer game and there’s no rhythm to the game,” he said.
They will be aiming to get back to winning ways when they face Real Salt Lake next week in the league.
