Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Rushwin Dortley ahead of their Toyota Cup clash against Young Africans at the Toyota Stadium.
Chiefs promised supporters the unveiling of their new technical team led by head coach Nassredine Nabi and new signings in Bloemfontein this weekend.
The likes of Fiacre Ntwari and Rushwin Dortley were already spotted in training for matchday minus one at the arena on Saturday, while Bongani Sam was part of their pre-season in Turkey but returned home before the squad with Dove Edmilson due to injury.
Amakhosi announced their recruit on social media on Sunday morning ahead of the legend’s clash against Bloemfontein Celtic legends, which serves as the curtain raiser for the encounter against East African giants Yanga.
Dortley, 22, joins the club on a three-year deal with an option to extend by a further season, joining from Cape Town Spurs.
The left-footed defender was part of the South Africa national team squad for the recent Cosafa Cup squad where he was the captain national team.
