Chippa United are set to boost their squad by bringing in former Supersport United defender Siyabonga Nhlapo.
Nhlapo, 34, recently parted ways with Matsatsantsa after five years at the club.
‘Sgegede’ made over 140 appearances in the colours of United and scored two goals. He won MTN8 with United in 2017/18. The former Bidvest Wits defender won a league title with the ‘Clever Boys’ in 2016/17.

iDiski Times understands that Chippa United have agreed to sign Nhlapo after spending some weeks training with the club. A close source confirmed that head coach Morgan Mammila has been impressed by the veteran defender.
Chilli boys are sitting sixth in the league table, and they have accumulated nine points after seven games. They have conceded seven goals and managed to keep three clean sheets.
