Cape Town City and Orlando Pirates have announced their starting line-ups for this evening MTN8 first-leg semi-final clash at DHL Stadium.
Following a postponement on Tuesday due to adverse weather conditions in Cape Town, the Premier Soccer League saw it fit postpone the mouth-watering clash between the two PSL sides after City booked their last four berth having narrowly beaten Sekhukhune United 1-0 in the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, Pirates eliminated SuperSport United in the last eight with a 3-1 scoreline after extra-time and are looking to take another step towards defending their Wafa Wafa crown.
In head-to-head stats, this is only the second meeting between the two sides in the competition, with the last clash ending in Pirates’ favour back in 2020 via a lone strike from Terrence Dzvukamanja to send the Ghost into the last four.
