Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe will officiate his final game this weekend.
Sikazwe will take charge of a week-18 Zambian MTN Super League match between Augustin Mulenga’s NAPSA Stars FC and current League Champions Red Arrows FC.
This will be the final match for Sikazwe whose career comes to an end after 23 years of officiating. The 43-year-old officiated at two FIFA World Cups in Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022.
The Kapiri born was also referred at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, where he came under scrutiny for incorrectly calling for full-time twice in the Group F game between Mali and Tunisia.
It was announced by the Zambian Football Association that Sikazwe will retire at the end of the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.
