Man of the Match Evidence Makgopa has heaped praise on his Orlando Pirates teammates for their resilience and not giving up in their Soweto Derby win over nemesis Kaizer Chiefs.
The Buccaneers completed another league double over 10-men Amakhosi at FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon to move to 49 points while Chiefs still languish just under the top eight bracket.

Pirates fell behind to Glody Lilepo’s second minute strike before Makgopa grabbed the equalizer in the 24th minute and Relebohile Mofokeng the winner in the 69th minute.
“One thing I’d like to say today is that we never gave up even though they managed to score in the early minute,” Makopa told OP TV.
“We also though about our back-to-back losses so we had to win today’s game because we have important games on the way.
