Kaizer Chiefs DStv Diski Challenge defender Aden McCarthy sees the next two matches against Stellenbosch FC and SuperSport United as finals after completing a double over Orlando Pirates to retain top spot.
McCarthy has had two months to remember as a footballer after he was called into the Bafana Bafana CHAN squad that faced Egypt over a two-leg qualifier.

The son of Fabian McCarthy returned to Chiefs and played a vital role in their DDC title aspirations scoring in back-to-back matches.
The 21-year-old scored the only goal in the DDC Soweto Derby from the penalty spot at Dr Molemela Stadium on Sunday.
The Amakhosi captain reckons that one final is done, and they have two left with Matsatsantsa and Stellies up next.
“First starting this month, we knew it would be difficult as a team,” McCarthy said.

“I got selected for the Bafana Bafana CHAN team so we knew few players would be going, and now we have almost six in the starting line-up that went to U20 camp.
“It’s just about managing the whole thing, next few games will be very important for three points. We gonna win this league, and we wanna book a flight to England.
“I would say it’s our next three finals, we gonna take it as it comes and collect the three points.
“Our mentality as a team is to win and keep a clean sheet and that’s what we do.”
