New Kaizer Chiefs defender Inácio Miguel expressed his excitement after winning the CUFA Cup on Sunday, urging his colleagues to gun for more silverware this term.
Miguel captained Chiefs on Sunday in the inaugural CUFA Cup against Marumo Gallants at the Free State Stadium before Yusuf Maart was introduced inside the 56th minute.
The 28-year-old is seen to have been the pillar of Chiefs’ defence this season as he has played every match so far. He has also scored one goal though Amakhosi are yet to keep a clean sheet in an official match.

Miguel shared his excitement on his Instagram account after lifting his first trophy in the famous black and gold.
“Leadership is an action, not a position,” he said.
“Happy for the effort & quality the team showed today, & happy also to contribute to bringing a trophy to the Amakhosi nation.
“Together we are much stronger. Let’s go for more,” Miguel posted.

Amakhosi will return to action on the 19th against SuperSport United in the Carling Knockout Cup last 16 round.
