Orlando Pirates winger Relebohile Mofokeng has been named Sports Personality of the Year at the Gauteng Sports Awards.
It has been an exceptional year for Mofokeng, who turned 20 last month.
In the past twelve months, he not only helped Pirates win the Nedbank Cup and MTN8 trophies, but he was also capped with Bafana Bafana and has become a regular in the squad.
Mofokeng was confirmed as the Sports Personality of the Year, at the Gauteng Sports Awards on Sunday, with Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies winning the Gauteng Sports Team of the Year.
