Mamelodi Sundowns defender Mothobi Mvala says he’d like to test himself against English Premier League giants Manchester City at the FIFA Club World next month.
After this weekend, where Masandawana will face Pyramids FC in the CAF Champions League final second leg in Egypt, the South Africans will then jet off to America for the international tournament.
Speaking at the event, where Sundowns announced Carling Black Label Beer as the official sponsor backing them for the Club World Cup, the 30-year-old centre-back also confirmed good news that he was 100% back from injury.
“I’m 100% back [from injury] and I’m very happy to be back on the field again.”
When quizzed which team he would like to face at the competition, he opted for the English said.
“Man City!” he boldly said.
“Because I like the way they play and sometimes it’s good to test yourself against them.”
Sundowns are up against Borussia Dortmund, Fluminense and Ulsan HD in Group F.
