New Chiefs Signing Spotted In Turkey

New Kaizer Chiefs signing Bongani Sam has been spotted in Turkey with the club in pre-season.

Sam, 26, joined Chiefs from rivals Orlando Pirates last week and was swiftly secured for part of their travelling squad to Europe.

While Chiefs have yet to officially communicate his signing, he’s been spotted in their official video teasers of their preparations for the new season.

Sam was signed as Chiefs opted against one of their primary targets Anderson Cruz, with the one-time capped Sam viewed as a long-term investment.

He’s played 88 games in the South African top-flight for Pirates, Moroka Swallows, Bloemfontein Celtic and Maritzburg United since emerging from the development of Highlands Park back in 2018.
