The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that the MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC on Saturday, October 5, is a sold-out affair.
Pirates saw off Cape Town City in the two-legged semi-finals while Stellies shocked Mamelodi Sundowns to reach their first-ever Wafa Wafa Cup final, with the two last standing teams set to battle it out for this season’s first trophy on offer at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
“Tickets for the 2024/25 MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC are officially SOLD OUT – just under four hours after they were made available to the public, the statement from the PSL read.
“Match tickets went on sale at 10h30 on Thursday morning and by 14h05, they were all sold out.
“A press conference will be held soon to provide further details on security arrangements, entertainment plans, and match logistics.”
