Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC confirmed their starting lineup for this afternoon’s MTN8 second-leg clash at Orlando Stadium.
After completing a coming back at Athlone Stadium three weeks ago, the Buccaneers have one foot into the final. Their chances of defending the MTN8 title remain intact.
Pirates are coming to this game at the back of a league defeat against Mamelodi Sundowns in the league.
Jose Riveiro’s side only lost two games this season, which makes them a difficult side to play against.
They’ve faced Stellies twice already this season and they’ve lost one and won one.
Meanwhile, Steve Barker’s will look to start their fortunes without Sibongiseni Mthethwa who joined Kaizer Chiefs. The Cape Winelands have already started a win against Pirates this season.
Stellies will have to score two unanswered goals this afternoon if they are to make it to their first cup final in the club’s history. The Winelands side will battle without the Ivorian defender Ismael Toure who received a red card midweek.
