Pitso Not Satisfied With Former Chelsea Playmaker

Esteghlal FC head coach Pitso Mosimane was left unsatisfied by the former Chelsea playmaker Gael Kakuta.

Esteghlal dropped points for the second successive game in the Iranian Pro League after a 1-1 draw against Aluminium Arak and remained eighth in the league table.

Mosimane’s side has been struggling to score goals or be able to close the game when they take the lead.

The South African mentor was left unsatisfied with DR Congo international who was lauded as one of the brightest prospects in world football when he joined the Blues back in 2007.

“He was injured and because he has returned from a long-term injury, he is not yet fully fit. Of course, you are right and I am still not satisfied with him,” Mosimane said.

“What was your opinion of Kakuta in the previous game? Today you say that the first 30 minutes were good.”

He’s featured 16 times for the club, with one assist and yet to open his account.
