Richards Bay Land Vilakazi Successor

Richards Bay are set to appoint Brandon Truter as their new head coach ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Truter will succeed Vusumuzi Vilakazi, who had parted ways with the club this week via a mutual agreement.

It had been reported by FARPost that Vilakazi was offered to move back into an assistant role with a new head coach.

However, it’s been suggested by sources within the club that there was a fallout with management during pre-season over training schedules.

iDiski Times has been informed Truter is set for a second stint at the Natal Rich Boyz where he was the coach during their time in the second tier.

Truter worked with the club in the second-tier before his move to Moroka Swallows where he then won promotion before stints with AmaZulu and Sekhukhune United.
