The South African Football Association (SAFA) have confirmed that head coach Morena Ramoreboli will lead Bafana Bafana in the upcoming COSAFA Cup.
Ramoreboli who won the 2021 edition which opened the pathway for the likes of Yusuf Maart and Ethan Brooks towards the AFCON and FIFA World Cup qualifiers under Hugo Broos returns for his second tournament.
It comes as a reward for his exploits in Botswana where he won the league with Jwaneng Galaxy that sees them return to the CAF Champions League for the second time in three seasons, while Raymond Mdaka will assist him for the regional showpiece.
Together with Mdaka, who steered Marumo Gallants to the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals last season, they will announce the squad on Friday, which includes Kaizer Chiefs bound Ranga Chivaviro, this publication understands.
The COSAFA Cup tournament will run from 5-16 July in Durban.
