Sundowns Secure Second Signing

Mamelodi Sundowns have secured the signing of defender Keagan Johannes from SuperSport United.

The 23-year-old comes highly-rated as the former national U23 captain and with loads of experience with SuperSport and Cape Town Spurs.

Since joining the club from Spurs in 2021, he’s racked up 65 appearances, as a right-back and centre-back and has been on the fringes of the Bafana Bafana squad in recent months.

Sundowns view the player capable of competing for places in the first team as a centre-back and right-back with a long-term future at Masandawana.

iDiski Times have been informed he’s penned a four-year deal with the club but is currently still recovering from an injury he suffered towards the end of last season.

Johannes marks Sundowns second signing after Kobamelo Kodisang was lured from Portuguese top-flight side Moreirense on a five-year contract.
