Mamelodi Sundowns have completed the signing of teenage midfielder Kutlwano Letlhaku from School of Excellence.
Letlhaku, 17, has long been tipped to make a professional breakthrough and has been touted as one of the finest talents in South African football.
Sundowns have acted fastest to snap him up ahead of the 2023/24 season where he will form part of a new-look DStv Diski Challenge squad next season.
His agency Centre Circle confirmed the news on social media on Wednesday and iDiski Times understands he’s seen as a potential first-team player in the near future.
As was the case of Siyabonga Mabena, Masandawana will look to fastrack the precocious talent into the senior set-up and if his recent progress is anything to go by, it won’t be too long before his name becomes more prominent amongst the local football fraternity.
