Banyana Banyana will face Zambia in the semi-final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations after qualifying for their eighth successive last four of the tournament.
The South African ladies beat Tunisia on Friday evening to qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament and also book their ticket for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Jermaine Seoposenwe scored the only goal of the night, with the result sending players and fans equally into eruptions.

Banyana will now face Zambia in the semi-final after the Copper Queens defeated favoured Senegal on penalties – their quarter-final had ended 1-1 after 90 minutes.
In the other semi-final hosts Morocco will take on record champions Nigeria. Morocco beat Botswana 2-1 on Thursday, while Nigeria defeated Cameroon 1-0 earlier on Friday.
Both games will take place next week Monday, 18 July, with the final set to take place on Friday, 22 July.
