Brighton Coach Gives Tau Update
Brighton & Hove Albion coach Graham Potter has given an update on Percy Tau’s fitness after he was sidelined for the last few Premier League games.
Tau had missed the last two matches after suffering from a hamstring injury, which happened after he had to self-quarantine for 10 days upon his return from national team duty with South Africa,
However, Potter confirmed on Thursday that Tau will be in contention for his squad against Leeds United on Saturday.
“Adam Lallana had a bit of a tight calf at the start of the week. His chances of playing are OK, we will make a decision after training tomorrow,” Potter said, when addressing his side’s team news.
“Percy Tau trained this week, so he’s back in contention.”
Tau has only made two Premier League appearances since returning from his RSC Anderlecht loan in January, the last being on 16 January.
Brighton currently sit in 17th place, seven points above the relegation zone with five games to go.
