The final ranking of the 2026 Ballon d’Or has been revealed, with Harry Kane winning the prestigious accolade for the first time in his career.

It was a tight race between the final three, who all had incredible campaigns in 2025/26 – with the Ballon d’Or now based on performances in previous seasons.

Kane scored 61 goals and set up seven more in 51 games for Bayern Munich. Mbappe scored 42 goals and assisted seven more in his first season at Real Madrid. Yamal scored 24 goals and set up 18 more in 45 games for FC Barcelona.

The latter also won LaLiga, the Spanish Super Cup and the FIFA World Cup, while Mbappe was part of a Los Blancos side that failed to lift any trophy in 2025/26, finishing fourth at the World Cup with France.

Kane won the domestic treble in Germany, lifting the Bundesliag, DFB Pokal and German Super Cup with Bayern Munich, while also finishing in third at the World Cup with England.

On Tuesday, Kane was named the winner of the 2026 Ballon d’Or during a glamorous ceremony in London.
