South Africa’s U23 side will open their Olympics campaign against hosts Japan today, and here is how you can watch the game.
David Notoane’s men take on Japan at 13:00, SA time, while France and Mexico already meet at 10:00.
South Africa have qualified for back-to-back Olympics and held hosts Brazil to a goalless draw in the opener of the 2016 tournament.
However, they were knocked out after failing to win any of their group stage fixtures, losing 1-0 to Denmark and drawing 1-1 with Iraq.
They hope to reach the knockout stages at this year’s edition, although being drawn in a very strong group.
Thursday’s opener will be live broadcast on SuperSpurt channels 201 and 205, while SABC will show the game on their OpenView channel 124 and Telkom One.
