Fenerbahce manager José Mourinho has poured cold water over claims that he’s trying to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo in the Turkish league.
Rumours had been rife over the past few weeks after it emerged that the pair reportedly had a telephonic conversation about a potential move.

The duo worked together at Real Madrid, winning the Copa del Rey in 2010/11 before following that up with the LaLiga title in 2011/12.
Quizzed if he was keen to once again link up with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Mourinho responded saying it would most probably be a catch-up over a meal.
“News about Cristiano Ronaldo to Fenerbahce are ridiculous,” the former Chelsea & Man United coach said, according to ESPN.com.
“Cristiano might come to Istanbul to eat because it’s right in the middle of the road between Saudi and Portugal.
“Or maybe he’ll come see his old friend José, we can eat at my hotel.”
The Al Nassr marksman will see his contract at the Saudi Pro League outfit expire at the end of the 2025 season.
